Default Scam Alert! DO NOT answer 1-800-934-6951! Especially if you have Sprint.

Glad that I missed that call this morning, took a shower and saw that it was a 1-800 number. Checked my messages, none left by this 800 number.

Searched google, turns out when your Sprint bill is past due, somehow they know and they call you asking for payment.

There's gotta be way to find out who registered that number isn't there?

The OP is a bit unclear about who "they" is in "they know." Is it some scam company or Sprint actually trying to collect their money?

Yeah, registered by Olufemi Ogunlye Inc., a company headquartered in Lagos Nigeria with one US PO Box in NYC.

Edit: Today I got two calls to my Sprint cell from Geoffery the Toys R Us giraffe wishing me a happy birthday today. My birthday is in February

why it's gotta be a Bear (Chicago)?

yeah, I don't accept 800 calls, and/or I know when my carrier calls. I NEVER pay the cell bill on time.

The telephone number 800-934-6951 is the number for Sprint Customer Finance. This is the number that will call you when your bill is past due and they are trying to arrange agreement for the bill to be paid.

As of today, 8/11/09, you can call Sprint (*2 from your Sprint phone) and they will tell you that it is their number and not a scam.
