Look in the owner's manual. There's an adjustment nut on the back of each headlight.

WTF? When did they do that?!

Well, at least on mine, get out an allen wrench that fits into the white nut on the back of the headlight, then start turning. Although I can't remember which way to turn if you want to bring the lights up... I did it so long ago.

It's not in the owner's manual... I have the service manual and that's where it is.

Shouldn't there be a philips head screw that fits into the leveler that let's you just screw it up and down? I have 06 sti headlights on my 06 TR and they have it. Although my stock headlights didn't. Maybe all TRs don't have the screw. But if you do have the screw then it's a piece of cake. And I think it's clockwise to raise IIRC.

Projectors always seem low if you are used to driving with halogen housing lights. They sound like they are adjusted just fine. You don't have any reason to change it from where it is set.

Normally your lights should shine as high as the side mirrors on the average car, any higher and you'll blind people.

isn't there a legit way to measure them? I can't remmeber if it's get on a flat spot, aim it to a wall, measure 30 feet away form the wall and it's like 12.5feet high or somethin like that (where the cut off should be) or somethin like that, can't remember exact measurements

I've done this numerous of times. Open your hood, in the front region right behind the hid bulb (but inside the engine bay) you should see a very small hex looking bolt just sticking out of the back of the headlight fixture. I believe it is an 8mm. I used the 8mm and a small ratchet. Hope this helps.

That's just for the STi.

Ditto. The bolt is horizontal (parallel to the ground). On the passenger side you will probably need to remove the intake ram/horn to access the bolt. On the driver side you can pop the upper portion of the fluid reservoir off and get to the bolt that way.

Thanks guys! The crap SilverStar bulbs I put it blew within 5 months. When I put in new Subaru bulbs, I noticed they were aimed much lower.

Nice. do an improper HID retrofit, then aim them up some more just incase you aren't pissing off oncoming drivers enough already.
