Default P2102 Cel

Anyone had any experience with the P2102 CEL (Throttle Actuater Motor Control Circuit Low).

It's a 2005 STI (Cobb Stage 2 Mods)

Car was running great this morning... now it's not running so great. It starts and idles, but won't rev past about 1700 RPMS.
If possible, I'd like to try fixing it without having to have it towed somewhere to get worked on.

Any help is appreciated.... I've looked for any bad grounds and fried wires... but didn't find anything.

Thanks,

Mike

Search for your code in this pdf and see if it helps you at all. Seems your electronic control throttle relay is not getting power.

thanks for the link!
I now have a few possiblities of the problem... We're hoping it's just the relay..... Of course Santa didn't bring me a new relay so I'll just have to wait for Avondale to get one in for me

FYI, in case anyone searches for this problem in the future. I recently had the same code and the symptom of low revving engine (1500-2000rpm only). The car would drive slowly even when floored but it would drive. It would also stutter slightly or shudder when idling. When I saw the check engine light and P2102 code thrown (the only code that came up) I replaced the car's battery. It worked!

Summary: Replace the car battery.
