Default anyone have GM boost control solenoid?

Anyone in DFW running one of these or the Perrin BCS?

I would really like to catch someone at one of the meets that has one to see what is involved in putting it in.

The tuning part i have no prob with, im just not the greatest mechanical hacker of all time so I would like to see what im up against in the engine bay first.

If you have one, is a $40 part worth a retune?

im thinking about trying this because i cannot hit target boost no matter what I do.

I have tried everything including preloading my wastegate arm.

the only time i have can hit target boost (barely) is when it is freezing cold - like in the 30's before the sun comes out. even then my boost gauge is vibrating and not really solid. ( if this makes any sense)

I just installed this today with the xpt gm map. So far I have not hit target boost. Apparently its going to be a game of WGDC adjustments and playing with the waste gate arm. Boost comes on very quickly once you rev up. Much faster than stock. The install is simple stuff. Check these links below.

but even so your not hitting target boost but i guess less boost is better then too much haha. good luck with that bro, im going to get a prodrive bcs. i like the whole pnp idea. did any of yall keep the reducers on the vacuum lines when you installed these? or just straight vacuum line? i've heard you have to keep the reducer on one line but not sure.
