Default STi Police Cars??!!

Look out!!!

They're 1/18 scale models from AutoArt. Not something you'll see every day. In fact, they're a limited edition of 6,000 worldwide.

Come on by the shop to see, or find them here:

I found alot of comment on the Colorado SP STi on varrious ploice forums. Seems like cops love the STi... and I don't mean they like to just ticket them.

They should come out to a autocross. I'd sell it as a community public affairs event.

No, no they don't.
That was a local CO guy's STi that they decal'd up for a photo shoot about street racing. (The car was actually the CSP's crime scene photographers.) Part of the "Alive at 25" campaign they did.

That is a bullet diffuser. That is so full metal jacket rounds don't hit your new shiny big TMIC when you are pulling over street racers

That's not always true. Fairfax has a seized BMW in police colors. So they can seize non-american cars and use them.

You can see the high speed pursuit camaro they pull some stuff off of in the background. (And note the normal CO plate)

And before NYSTI comes up with other supporting STi pics with lightbars (also on this forum), we have a member on here who works for/owns a company that makes light bars for law enforcement. They have a marked up STi as a promo/advertising vehicle and LOTS of pictures of it on NASIOC/etc...

It's hard to see from the photo, but there's a notch in the bottom of that diffuser for air to get to the scoop.

You think that is bad, check out this thread about Washington state in Kitsap County. They are using a Legacy GT as an undercover patrol unit and rumor has it heard that they have 2 unmarked STI's as well.

I've been with a friend that street raced there!

They don't F around.
Story Time!
We were in the wrong lane to start. Racing a Focus (lawl) in a Caddy Deville. Yeah V8 big box thing haha. The kid was 16, no license. Parents let him drive so we could have "band practice" Long story short, The focus lost, he stopped when the cop came. We were like oh, time to leave. haha. We almost hit him head on, ran like 3 red lights..in what was basically outer Denver..much like an industry park. and tried to get away. but no such luck. He got 26 points. no licensed until 21 and a whole bunch of ****. Supposably they crush your car. No matter what....but he told judge we stole it i think, his dad got his car back.

Colorado is not the place to race!
