Default Honda to Bring Inspire (Accord) Modulo Concept to the Tokyo Auto Salon

Quote:
The Honda Inspire is the Japanese version of the Accord that we all know and love. In preparation for the Tokyo Auto Salon, Honda has tapped tuner Modulo to help it spice up several cars, including this Inspire concept.

Outside, the new look Inspire gets a set of seven-spoke 19-inch wheels, revised aluminum trim, and changes to the front and rear bumpers. There are also clear headlight and taillight covers that may not be to everyone’s taste.

Modulo has done some formidable work on the Inspire interior though. The most striking revisions are the orange leather and black crocodile skin seats that visually dominate the cabin. Modulo has also added a pair of LCD screens behind the front seats, and independent audio systems for all passengers.

That is pretty hot. 1,000,000x better than the current Accord.

The new Accord is just hideous... this Inspire concept looks both better and worse at the same time.

I like the interior changes, and I like the rear end (minus the taillights). The front is way too busy - if they toned it down some, it would look lots better than the new Accord. But even that wouldn't make it look good.

I hope this generation Accord is the last Honda that steals styling cues from BMW's flame-surfacing design language. Ugh.

I agree, the new Accord was a let down and the interior was not better then the last generation.Came in third losing to the Camry and Malibu in Motor Trend this issue.I was surprised to see that.
