I would def stay away from anything EBAY Turbo. Unless its a stock part that someone is selling off of a car or a legitimate turbo from a real manufacturer. Buying a cheap turbo and pushing it hard, would most likely cause more than turbo failure.

If you view the sellers other items he has on eBay.. you'll see..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GRedd...3763QQtcZphoto

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GRedd...6767QQtcZphoto

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GREDD...3854QQtcZphoto

These are in NO WAY "eBay" parts....but wait... there offered on eBay!! OMG

Just because the seller sells stuff on eBay doesn't mean its not good... Yall just haven't heard anything about it...but if you lived in Canada.. would you have heard of FP or Blouch? Instead you would have heard of ExoticSpeed and other CA companies...

just my .02

Who the hell said it was cheap.
The 350ES starts at 750. That is pretty high priced.

Well, they are a MHI dealer and use MHI parts. Infact, their hotside's from the pictures are the 8cm hotside with the same MHI markings "2157, etc..." as my Blouch. I won it from eBay yesterday and got a hell of a price on it. We will test it out and see if its worth buying. I honestly think its a good turbo, however, a new turbo.

If you read their website http://www.exoticspeed.ca/ they tell you that they're turbos are on "promotional pricing" because they are new and they want to get some out there to the public. It retails for $1400 and they are letting them go for $C 799.00 (US$800.01). We purchased one and we're going to put it through some rounds on the dyno to see how it holds up.

I'll be sure to keep everyone updated once we get it on the dyno. It may be a while since I have to buy injectors and a 70mm cai before i slap it on the dyno... money money money...

I think its called the "ES450". Its the TD06H 20g 8cm2.

The communication between me and the seller has been great so far also.

+1 for them so far...

I've ordered my 850cc injectors from Deatschwerks and they should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I've already picked up my APS 70mm intake and now the only thing I'm waiting on is the time to do it.

I'm very anxious.

I've got some new info on this turbo. Looks like it comes with the mitsu 20G compressor wheel and td06sl2 turbine wheel. It also comes with a genuine mhi 8cm turbine housing. The compressor cover however is not made by MHI. It is a "specialty" Canadian part. The wheels come balanced individually from MHI and they do balance the rotating parts in house as a unit. Oil and water cooled with all the lines and gaskets included. A 11.5 psi (0.8bar) wastegate actuator is standard.

The only drawback that concerns me is the "specialty" compressor cover. FP uses "specialty" housings as well. Other than that, at $800 this turbo is well priced. On the dyno, the advantage of this ES450 vs. a MHI td06sl2-20G is about 15-20hp (per exoticspeed).

You are correct WRXtool, I think it is priced well at 800 and if it is a hit, they will probably corner the market.
I am really eager to see what the logs say as well as dyno sheets and the over all performance.
Longevity will be the key however.

FP uses "specialty" housings. So politically correct!

We use some housings from Taiwan in some turbos, and they are these same housings. You see MHI will not sell the 8cm housing (Greddy lockdown, cry all you want), so all 8cm housings actually come from China. We have had pretty good results with this turbine housing, but some rejects there also. You can see the foundry marks in the pictures. The exhaust housings have this mark CHSH on them when they come from this particular foundry. The pics in the links show the mark. They also show the failure prone "white" colored chinese compressor wheels. I tried using these a couple years ago in a batch of 10 WRX turbos - 6 of them broke into pieces during the testing. This is the same stuff as Momnetum Turbo from a couple years ago, but with a prettier tag on it. For the record all FP turbos feature genuine MHI compressor wheels, not these "white" ones. And we build them all ourselves, just like we have for the last decade - and that is a lot of turbo experience.

We had to start making our own bearing housings to get the quality level where we needed it to be, these ones had a pretty high rejection rate. Looks sorta like the turbos that used to be Momnetum are now Exotic Speed, but what do I know

Also called MHI today, Exotic Speed in Canada is not any type of MHI turbo distributor or turbo shop/builder contrary to what was posted earlier. So don't believe everything you read on ebay - and don't take my word for it either, look for yourself!

Boost on!

Ok, UPS just delivered it TODAY! It took 10 days from Canada and 1 day was delayed because of "Adverse weather conditions". The turbo surprisingly looks great. I also have a Blouch TD06 20g and they both have the exact same 8cm exhaust housing. It has all of the same brands as the MHI "2157" "080 HISI" and "49378-10400" on the exhaust housing and it seems to have the same style Compressor housing as the Blouch Dom2.0 turbo but just 20g size... It has a shiny chrome finish to it and it looks great. Solid turbo! I'm just using Blouch as an example because their the only company I have experience with and it's the only other turbo I have here to compare to. There is 0 shaft play and there is the same style plaque on the front with ExoticSpeed and some serial number and part number information on the front. It also came with a 0.8 bar WG actuator (0.8 bar = 11.603019 psi) so thats pretty bad ass. 20g's usually only have a 9 psi WG actuator on them.. I payed 119.00 from Blouch to get their 12 psi "upgraded actuator" on my 20g so this is a GREAT deal!!

I can't wait for the install details! So far so good! $800 shipped is GREAT bang for the buck and worth it so far!

Came with gaskets, lines, banjo bolt, all necessary parts needed for install!

Here are some pics:
