Default Opinions on '93 Legacy Touring Turbo AWD Wagon

As the title says, I would like to know if any of you have an opinion about the 1993 Legacy Touring Turbo AWD Wagon? There is one for sale near me that looked in pretty good exterior and interior shape that has 148,000 miles on it. The guy selling it says he just put a new starter and alternator in it and it may need some new tires...but that everything else works in it. I drove it and there were no noises and it pulled pretty good. Interior is in excellent shape and all the electronics seem to be working. He's asking $1800.

Also, what parts are interchangeable with Imprezas of that era? I appreciate your time...thanks again for all your help.

Hey man. If it's a 5 spd I say grab it regardless of condition...even though it sounds like this wagon is in good shape. As far as these cars go they are excellent especially if you are looking for a beater to kick around in.

I think 1800 is a bit high unless its very pristine and a 5spd. You should be able to talk him down. For things that cross over from the GC impreza, most suspension parts will except rear sway bars. Many WRX engine parts will work with the EJ22 engine that this wagon has.

Personally, i'd snag it!

Thanks. Unfortunately it's an automatic. I was surprised by the interior for a 14 year old car. I need to still take it to a mechanic to have it looked over. Thanks for the link....
