Default 2008 STI already on the Mass most stolen cars list

Just got my renewal policy (effective 8/07) and it already lists the 08 WRX and STI on there

Yet another strike against me getting a sti, insurance rates through roof.

Thats odd...base on what stats, I mean how many have SNE sold yet?

IE 50% theft rate; 2 sold, one stolen...

For giggles I may ask my agent to quote me on one and see what the delta is.

They must be basing it off stolen 07s as the 08s aren't on the east coast for another few weeks

When I moved out of MA, my insurance (for one perfect and one close to perfect driver) dropped by half.

dude..so you're 19? is that why your insurance is so high? just because of age? or do you have some speeding tix in there too? either way, you should talk to liberty mutual potentially, they helped me out with insurance rates till i hit that 6 year mark in MA, and now that i'm 22 my insurance dropped to $940on my 05 WRX limited

Mine was around $36xx when I lived in MA. Up in NH, it's down to 14xx for both cars.

Same here my 2006 STi was $3800 last year for 18-19 and 19-20 i went to $1600.

I have 0 tickets and no accidents.

Supposedly it was the 3 year mark and the new system change combined that dropped rates so much.

Got rid of my 2006 STI for my 2004 GMC Sierra and dropped to $1300 for the year. Trucks suck for insurance too. This is the first time I have paid under $1500 for the year and I had a truck for a year and a half then the sti for almost 2 years.

Liberty is nice if your paying a ****load like i was and you save the 10% because its a significant amount. On my last policy for the STi it saved me 1 full payment.

Paying for registration every year is expensive in NH though.

I was at $477 for my old Accord...moved up to $1350 with the STi.

I slid the Accord into the back of a minivan after being cut-off on 128 in a construction zone (eff driving in traffic) and I'm absolutely cringing to think what it's going to do to my rate. I have my fingers crossed they don't rule it 100% my fault (which it really wasn't...but I also accept the law pretty much says if you slide into someone...)

Oh well.

I pay $1500 on the Evo in MA. In CT, I was paying the same for a 93 Integra as a secondary driver.
