Default Need opinions on rim color...ugh..

For reference, that is a quick snap shot of my car.

In the next month or so I will be lowering it and getting a v-limited lip. While I really like the stock rims look (plus I don't want to pay for new ones yet ), I think painting/powdercoating them would fit my tastes better.

The only problem is I don't know what color. I am see-sawing between dark gunmetal or gloss black. I figure the black will match the car a bit better, but I am not sure. Any opinions?

*Please don't bother commenting on the foglight covers, it is a temp. thing until I take them off and paint the insides black. If you don't like it, too bad. I'm asking about rim color

Do you have to change the color of the rims? If anything I would say gunmetal or gold. Black usually looks good for the first 5 minutes then they just look dirty.

There's plenty more, too.

Anyway, back on topic. A dark gunmetal would be nice, gold would look pretty good, too.

There's a few in the "painted your stockers" thread, in the wheel and tire section.

go for the black. I usually prefer gunmetal, but w/ the rest of your car plus the calipers, i think the black would look better.

Gloss black rims or dark gunmetal rims would look awesome! I would lean towards really glossy (clearcoated?) metallic dark gunmetal color more though for the rims. I had Advan Kreuzer V rims in gunmetal and one of the things I loved most about those rims were they had such a glossy finish to them. Look up the Advan Kreuzer X rims as well they're actually offered in gloss dark gunmetal.

edit:

rims.

You can't be serious, check out the BLUE thread....there are TONS of WRB with gunmetal wheels. I agree with gunmetal though, very aggressive without the overkill of a fully black wheel. Second choice would be white...
