Default 2009 Honda Civic Concept

Quote:
These images are of possibly the next Honda Civic. The biggest change will be the diesel engine option. The new car will be much larger, about as big as the previous model Accord.

The next Civic will have a 140-hp, 1.8-Liter, 16-Valve SOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine,5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. The price will be upped about $25,000-$34,990 for the Diesel.

The wheels alone look like they weigh more than the old Civic hatches.
Don't like the grille too much, but not bad after all.

A diesel Civic would be cool, but 35K is alot for a Civic.A TL with AWD would be nice.

nO. ? This cannot be the new Civic. Not for that money and not in 2009. I refuse to believe it.

Edit: after a closer look, $9 says this will be the '09 TL.

This car was confirmed on vtec.net like a year ago as being the next Gen TL/Inspire.

The next Civic line w/available diesel will be in 2011.

i doubt we'll see the new civic until 2011
2009 should be mid model change
we may see a type r car if we are lucky and 2 more years
the honda will release the new car

Looks like a GM product.

The actual car will not look anything like that and honda will not make it bigger. The ones on the road now are even smaller than early 2000 models.
