for that header to work you need the full exhaust from a 05 or earlier impreza RS

there are multiple threads dedicated to what fits the 06/07 2.5i and what combinations will work. i would suggest you search in this forum.

Too, you might want to take a look at what comes on the car before spending your money.

^not really. . . the setup I would be runing is a borla header, high-flow cat pipe, mid-pipe and axleback all from a 05 and previous impreza rs. . . and run a 2.25" piping through out it

Well not totally useless, just mostly. Unless you plan on replacing the rest of your setup with something a little more performance related. At least they're stainless.

i mean even if you do just only replace the headers. . . you would sort of be defeating the purpose of the exhaust flow because the cat-pipe the mid-pipe and axleback are very restrictive to your exhaust flow

i just got done having a SS AutoChrome (ebay) Header from a WRX (EL style header) modified to work with my 2.5i... i noticed a huge difference in mid and high end, and the engine really screams when the AVLS kicks in! (i'll post up some pictures tomorrow of the install)
