Default Ext. thermometer stopped working ('08)

Does anyone know where the temp sensor is on the 2008's?
My ext. thermometer is reading way off.. for example... It was 25* out yesterday and it was reading 6* all the way to -22*

and no...it's not in celsius

Sounds like a warranty issue?

car is brand new, take it in and let the dealership sort it out....
