Post Storm is currently sucking!

I could open my freezer and have a better blizzard The most exciting thing that happened to me was stepping in a puddle and getting my foot wet...It's now hailing...These little teeny sandgrain sized hails...They sting when they hit you, and give surprisingly good traction on the road lolol...I hope it gets worse...Those weathermen promised it'd be horrible! Supposed to be the worst storm in 50 years..They lied to me! ...I heard they declared a state of emergency in NJ, but from where I'm standing it's more like a state of overreaction...

I just checked weather.com for East Brunswick, central Jersey, and it called for a total accumulation of only 5 INCHES over the next two days. Man, this is really dissapointing. I was hearin 24 inches yesterday, and now its only 5??!? Oh, and there IS a state of emergency in NJ, I work for the TPK authority, and we're currently waiting for an announcement if state agencies will be closed or not for tomorrow. It could be jumping the gun, but I'll take a paid day off anytime!

We don't even have a 1/4 where I am...But I'll gladly take a paid day off, too! I think I'm gonna call my boss and tell her she needs to close down for tomorrow morning

Fido,

Your right, this storm does suck!

Yesterday they were saying 12-24"
now its downgraded to 3-6"

By tomorrow it will be 1-3"

What a waste. I feel sorry for everyone who wasted 5 hours of their life at Shop Rite in their frenzy to buy stuff.

Well lucky me doesn't have to go to work tomorrow Boss called and said that we're closed, woot! Heh, I went food shopping today at like 6ish because I knew no one else would be there, and I didn't have much food left hehe...There was plenty of food in the store, and only like 5 other shoppers...Unfortunately, they had no bread or rolls left...Which annoys me, but oh well Lots of good sales going on...Mm..Eggo waffles for 1.50 a box

I love being an RS owner!!!
This is the first car club I've ever been in where we anticipate the snow, and get pissed off if it doesn't snow!! This is great - one of the few performance cars we can enjoy all year round!

The weak accumulation hasn't kept the accidents down though! I saw THREE flipped over Explorers and Expeditions on the way home. Very scary stuff; two on their sides and one on its roof.

As I passed by the one on its roof I could see the young woman who had been driving. She just looked confused, scared and shaken up. (The cops were with her) People just do not know how prone those vehicles can be to roll-over.

Yup, people drive like nuts ...Almost makes me scared to go outside and drive around...It's not me screwing up that I have to worry about, it's everyone else on the damn roads! I certainly hope this wussyarse storm picks up overnight...

McDade...

you should get your butt over to the mall - holy crap did I have a blast tonight. I was kinda pissed that the arcade was closed at willowbrook - but the amount of empty space there was amazing!!

Was doing doughnuts, circles, skids, side slides.. i was driving the galant, this other kid in a RS (anyone here own a white rs that's a bone stocker from all outside appearances?!?) and one of the regulars at Fun N Games with his audi.. we were trying to see who can do true rally slides all around.

it looks like ill have to goto work tommorow at this rate, however.. well, the only good thing is that i'll get to see railroad tracks on fire again

My big problem tonight is:

'00 Trooper or '88 Subaru XT6?

Trooper can earn me some $, subaru can earn me some fun!

What I don't understand is don't normal people have over 2 days worth of toilet paper and food in the house? Maybe it's just my italian instincts but, it seems that less than 2 days of food in the house is wayyyy too little.
