When did GM start selling the 08 cadillac CTS. I swear I see at least one on the road every day, in different colors, which means people are buying them, and lots of 'em. For comparison, the 2008 Honda Accord was released around October and I see them too, but maybe one per week, compared to the dozens of the new CTS. Amazing because the old CTS seems fairly rare to me.
Could this be one of the cars that saves GM?

even if the cts-v only gets the ls3 it will be way better than the last version. ive heard rumors of the ls7 going in but i think the ~430hp ls3 is more suitable.

oh I know all about it. I was just surprised to see such a flock of customers to a brand new american car. I guess those that previously bought SUVs are now buying nice cars to save on gas
. But that's a good thing. |

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1422246 here's the subaru thread about the CTS-V. I bet I won't see nearly as many of these on the road.

My Father runs a Cadillac dealer and already has 2 pre-orders for the new CTS-V
.REDICULOUS amounts of change these 2 guys have! Last year my father never once had a CTS on the lot due to demand. He tried to get them shipped from as far away as Florida and California but no one would let them go. Amazing car and a blast to drive! Being car of the year has nothing to do with it. People started buying these up as soon as they hit the market. Car of the year was just icing on the cake. |

I've seen a number of them on the road as well too. As someone else mentioned, i've seen more of these on the road than new Accords.

VERY nice car for the price. Screw BMW, for a fully loaded CTS you cant get nearly as much in a 3.

WTLMonth. The old CTS was cool, the new CTS is fantastic. I have seen a few of them, not a ton, but GM is going to sell a ton of them. The old model actually sold more cars later in it's lifecycle, which is quite unheard of.
GM is making some very good new cars. I wouldn't touch some of their old ones though. |

I liked this thing long before being named car of the year... GM moved in the right direction on this one...
Also, the new Pontiac G8 should be a winner as well... can't beleive I actually like it... ahh shoot me!! |

I'm becoming such a GM fanboi. (me from 2 years ago just SLAPPED me)
Do want: CTS-V (either outgoing style or '08), G8, and I pray every morning for a Saturn Astra Red Line. |
