Question The humunga cowabunga from down under

OK so im trying to remember the name of an old 80s movie and cant figure out its name, maybe someone can help.

The storyline is of a family who goes to the beach for summer vacation and there is a mom dad sister and brother. The brother starts hanging out with a punk gang and then at the end of the movie the dad rides a huge wave called the Humunga cowabunga from down under on a long board and survives and then theres a big party.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THE NAME OF THIS MOVIE!?!?!?!

It took you 4 minutes to respond. I'm going to assume you used google to find your answer, thus I do not believe you actualy knew the answer. :P

I'm going to crawl into bed, and cry like a little school girl in the fetal position.

I just googled "sho-nuff" in hopes it wouldn't bring that movie up, but it did.

I could sing you the theme song, but I don't think it'd come out right on here.
