Default Crawford Performance's new Time Attack car dyno video

Today I had a long chat with Chris from Crawford Performance. He asked me to keep it a secret (the last couple months) when I was down there getting dyno tuned and I can now share the word. The car is complete, minus the wicked paint job that will be on the car (and the stickers)

Have a look see.

*They are NOT getting away from Subaru. It's their heritage! Just time to prove some wickedness with a new platform*

I hear it made some absolutely ridiculous power on race fuel. What the "numbers" were...I do not know....just that "it will pull something fierce down the back stretch of the tracks."

I wonder how much it weighs?

Can't wait to see what the race year brings for them.

They still gonna be out there in the STi to fly the Subaru flag or will we be losing them in our camp?

The Subaru flag will still be flown high.

That is their heritage, that is their passion, this is their new racecar

Just expect to see them at the track this year

They aren't getting away from subaru...they will still be doing everything subaru......

...They proved they had the fastest daily driven street (true street, not PR street) subaru in the U.S.

Time to prove that with a new platform

I am can respect that. Besides, once the Skyline gets built why not do up an EVO. Crawford could be the force in AWD turbo cars no matter what badge is on the grill.

With the new gtr finally finding its way to the US, perhaps they're thinking about all the fancy new skylines attached to noobs with piles of discretionary income?

eh...you can't go knocking out AMS as they are already diving into the subie game and have the evo's down pat.

an R34 is an interesting choice to build as imagine there isn't much R&D money return on such a rare car...

"there is no replacement for displacement"

that being said, cool car, I'd love to have that type of money to built one of those. HP is easy, and cheap to come by, just add a bigger turbo/injectors.

HOWEVER, I would love to see the national winning TTU vette come out and run around with a few Time Attack cars, 600+ whp, 2900lbs, and HUGE tires...

Uh oh. Now that you have one, are you going to start posting all these "Vette's rule!" posts?

PFFT you know it but I'm still something like this.

Subaru > porsche > vette

but in all seriousness, there is no replacement for displacement. That and a well balanced car (I'd say the skyline is one), are nice to have on track. Thats the one thing i never liked about the sti, it ran out of steam at 100-120+ i dont think this skyline will do that!

that's because either your aero, engine or gearing...being there isn't too much aero to work with and power isn't restricted, that makes it engine to blame

"easily" fixed

800whp at the highest boost setting would be my guess.

I wonder how much it weighs?
I'll say somewhere around 2700lbs w/o a driver.

Can't wait to see what the race year brings for them.
When do I get to find out how accurate my guesses are? And what happened to the '07 STi Limited they were rumored to have been building as the next time attack car?

How do you figure? The Crawford STi is still illegal as any car in PR here on the California streets and most anywhere else in the U.S.

who know's if they'll release the "numbers".

Don't you know that ALL the unlimited time attack cars run 450whp!? atleast that's what they (the different teams) claim.

I was down there at their shop for a few days and didn't see a limited being worked on

emissions wise...yes. What most people fail to realize is this car gets driven to and from the track from the shop. Yes, it's true.

Coincidentally, the last year and half they trailored it once that I know of.....Laguna Seca at the last Redline event....car went out, split the upper radiator hose on the p/s pulley, and overheated.

All the Crawford boy's joked that they shouldn't have trailered it.

It was more or less an inside joke to one of my buddies (not at Crawford).

ZOMG! it run's 9's and we drive it everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just so you know, Quirt has dabbled in Nissan's for years.

Dabbling, is putting it mildly.

Anyone seen his sand rail? The one that broke his back? literally.
