Default Possibly Stupid Question, regarding MRT exhaust

I just bought an MRT turbo back from a friend. Unfortunately, in all the moving in and out of trunks, it appears one of the gaskets is missing (the one between the muffler section and midpipe). Currently, It's on my car without that gasket.

So, first of all, what's the best way to go about getting a replacement? Contacting MRT directly, a US distributor, etc?

Second, what negative effects are there for having it as is until I get the replacement?

Thanks!

As long as it's not leaking it probably doesn't matter. If it is I guess it might sound bad and could cause some turbulence in the pipes. But it probably wouldn't effect much being that far down. As for getting a replacement, I'd go to a muffler shop and have them make one or just make one yourself. You can buy that material at a hardware store.

I was able to get extras from a local muffler shop. If I'm not mistaken it's the same as the other one near the rear end. You can also use Red High Temp Permatex Silicone sealer and you won't nead a gasket if you follow the directions.
