my bugeye is gone

Default Please help if anyone still can...

Ok chances are there is no hope to find it but my buddy's car was stolen. The bad part is we aren't sure exactly when it was taken because we have all been on break for a month from school. The time frame is between December 12th and January 10th. He found out about it today so if anyone sees this car driving around, which you most likely won't considering it has probably been gutted and everything of value taken off it, please let me know. I know it's a long shot but it's at least worth a try. It's a green 98 Civic with a 99-00 front end parts list will be under the photo. If anyone knows anyone with a Honda that has recently acquired any of the parts listed below or hears of any of these parts for sale also let me know. Once again it's a long shot but it's worth attempting to find it he put a lot of time and money into his car just like all of us. Thanks for the help.

Here is what is officially gone if you know of Honda people who just bought some fancy items for their ridezzzz
Rota gt3 royal green with kumho ast tires new 195/50/15 (there is only one other person in the area that we know of with these in and it's on a white hatch so if you see someone cruisin with some green GT3s let us know.)
Apex'I world sport 2 cat back
Blue AEM cold air intake (there is a hole in this baby that was covered by a silicon coupling)
B&M fuel pressure regulator with gauge (the regulators still there but I guess they liked the gauge?)
99-00 Si cluster
Password jdm yellow fogs (they left the wiring and switch)
Black Si grill
Black Si front lip
If you hear of any of these items for sale let me know.

Thanks! Now I don't have to type all that into craigslist myself.

(I hope things turn out well for your friend. I had a honda that was shelled within 3 days. I hope the insurance company is cool when dealing with this. : ( )

Civics are magnets for thieving bastards, mine was broken into when I had it, when the girl before me had it, and when the guy before her had it.

yeah we're from valpo and go to ASU. that is the honda that was at the awd meets on saturdays. he has made a thread on azht and is looking for his parts as well on there. we're hoping for the best but a stolen honda in az is not a good combo.

Question ... is why would one leave their car parked outside ... for a month!? I would have garaged it somehow, but I will keep an eye out.

well he would of garaged it but unfortunately the complex he lives in was all out of garages and we don't know anyone out here with a garage he could have put it in. He's had to do this before and lucked out, but unfortunately when you're not from the area and don't know anyone who has a garage to let you use for a month you've gotta risk it and this time it just didn't work out. It is listed on AZHT and other forums as well and thegreg is right AZHT is the place to get your car stolen that's like all of us talking to each other here in the SWIC and then going out and stealing each others parts or cars it's rediculous. Anyways thanks for the help guys!!

He reported it stolen right? I find stolen vehicles every week, sometimes multiple ones a week. There is a pretty good chance it will be found completely gutted though.

He's still back here in Indiana we get back tomorrow. Can't he not do the police report while not being there? His roommate was the one that told him about it.

He had his alarm on it I mean there's not much more he could of done had it parked under a lit car cover the complex is supposedly secure which is a load of BS considering the gates are always broken and they have 1 security guard walking around. lame. There were no garages available to store it in like stated above so that's kind of what he was left to do. We really don't know that many people out here that even have garages that he could of used.

Complete loss no money from the insurance because like said above...liability only which I guess isn't the smartest move in Arizona with a Honda but the financial reasons are his business not mine so.

^^ yeah no doubt we're expecting that for sure especially since who knows when it was actually taken and Hondas are so easy to rip apart and sell the goodies off of. I guess what we're hoping for now is some of the parts to show up or something like that.

If someone was watching the car for you they can report it stolen. You want it to be done as soon as possible incase a patrol car decides to run the plate/vin it will show up stolen.
