Default Built Motor completed, possible Turbo Issue

Okay, so I just completed my hybrid on my 03 bugeye. I've got the VF34 with pinks. I have ~950 miles on the motor and am running a break-in map from cobb that limits my rev to 4600 and boost control turned off.

When running my car, I can spool to about 5 lbs of boost. When I am in 2nd gear and go around a corner and start to accelerate, I get this weird sound from my turbo. It's not a grinding sound, but more of a sick spool whine. After my rpm's increase to about 3000, the "sick spool" goes away and I hear the normal spool. It's this lower rpm spool that is worrying me. I just noticed it this last weekend. Any idea's?

Edit: I also have checked for shaft play and don't have any. But I am getting a silvery sludge in my "y" pipe and TB, but cannot see any before the turbo.

Can you be a little more descriptive? "Sick spool" is vague.

"I am getting a silvery sludge in my "y" pipe and TB, but cannot see any before the turbo."

Glittery sludge? Drop your oil, now, and see if it's in there too. Glitter is usually not a good thing.
