Default WTB track or DD Wheels tires

I have a set of 04 STi BBS currently on the car that will either be my track or DD wheel depending on what I find.

Also, I am not looking to break the bank (less than $750)

DD:
-17 or 18. 5x100. at least 7.5 wide. (I would prefer 17s)
- Need to be in decent shape
- Not chrome
- not painted unless done so professionally
- No stockers unless they are 04 BBS (doesn’t hurt to have 2 sets right?)
- Bonus if they are all black, gunmetal or bronze.
- Bonus if they have some sort of tire life left.

Track
- Must be 17x7.5 or 8 5x100
- don’t have to been in the greatest shape. Just functional and hold air.
- Reasonably light weight
- Super bonus if they have some sticky tire left.

I’ll buy just tires too for DD and/or Track (225 or 235/4x/17)

Post of pics of what you have! I dont need them until March/April, so I have some time.

Thanks
Shawn

Im located in Lewisville/DFW

Hey shawn...I have a set of forester turbo wheels (they are made by Enkei) They are pretty lightweight aluminum wheels. These are 17x7's which are plenty wide for a 225 or 235 series tire. I have a set of 225/45-17 REO70's that have about 4/32nds on them (perfect for racing, should last a full season like this) that i could throw in with it for ya. I could prolly do wheels for about $400, and i'll just hook you up with the tires...wheels are brand new. They work really well for track wheels.

I use a set of outback stock wheels (17x7) to race on with 225/45's, and they work great.

that may work well for me. Let me see what else I find. I didnt think you could get 235s on a 7inch rim? I'll keep you posted.

My agenda looks like this:

Springs
Tune
Track/DD Wheels Tires
Learn to drive

Yeah...a 245 won't quite fit without stretching (which some people in autocross like)...but a 235 will work fine.

Should work then. Temporary trade for your stockers? Mine are superlightwieght and have extreme performance summer tires. Super stiff sidewalls. Last time it took 4 months for my car to get out.
