Default Who is the BEST paint shop in the Hudson valley?

Ok, I really need your help. Who is the BEST paint shop in the Hudson valley? I don't mean just for repair but for awesome paint jobs. I am looking to get my car painted and I need to get it done soon. Unfortunately I met some black ice the other day and the black ice introduced me to his friend guard railing. 1/2 the car has to be painted now so I am going to pay to have the other 1/2 painted and get the whole car painted. I am hoping for a nice deep candy apple maroon.

So far the place I was thinking of going is Ballistic bodyworks. Has any one heard any good or bad things about them? I have seen really nice work done by them but that was like 15 years ago. I heard they still do custom work.

Any body have any other recommendations for a great paint shop?

Thanks in advance for your help!!! I really appreciate it.

I would say B&B auto specialist in Wappingers falls. It's a shop where work is guaranteed by Geico. Expensive, but definitely worth it.

Ultimate Collision Center (UCC) in Peekskill... They painted my car. Most of the Tri-state Subaru guys go there, they are a vendor on here, lots of Subaru experience. Tell Bill that John sent you. My car is there now...

Ultimate Cc you guys look like you do great work, I will keep you in mind. If you don’t mind me asking…What would be the estimated coast of painting a whole STI a candy apple metallic maroon? Including door jams, under the hood and trunk (not the whole engine bay just the upper sides by the fender and under the hood)? The insurance will pay to have the damage fixed and painting half the car so I won’t be paying for the whole paint job. I certainly can’t afford that. Thanks!

Thanks again everyone for all your help and input!!!

With out any doubt in anyone's mind, Orange County Automotive is the place to have a car painted or custom work done or repaired. See their website at www.orangecountyautomotive.com. They are Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lotus, Bentley Certified.

I believe UCC does a great paint work, but some people weren't too lucky. Maybe UCC was too busy during the holidays.

How's cost in getting your car painted there compared to other places?

Its really tough to give estimates like this over the web, way to many variables that can effect the cost greatly...is there any chance that you could swing by the shop at some point or atleast call us at 914 788 9800 and ask for Bill...

In business you simply can't please everyone, we certainly try to but theres just some that you can't no matter what yo do...this thread has a lot of info missing out of it but it was done for a reason as I didn't want to get into an arguement with a customer...
