Default Broken Seat Bracket, anyone know where to get a replacement?

Hi,

My driver side seat bracket has broken. Originally the bolt that holds the bracket to the slider broke, so I replaced with another bolt and large washer. Now the whole brake on the front outside of the seat has broken. Anyone know where I can find a part number or get a replacement? even if I have to buy the whole assembly for the seat.

Thanks,
Adam

Call a dealership. That item was a recall (I had it fixed on my 02 Sedan too) and they should fix it for free.

I just went through a similar situation with my driver's seat. The bolt hole toward the front of the seat on the left slider that holds the seat to the slider ripped itself apart. Some friends and I used a piece of a flat metal exhuast hanger (the universal style with all the holes in it) and cut and welded it to the broken area. It took about an hour of my time, that's about it. If you don't have access to a welder, than go to the dealer or a junkyard and get a new slider. Call a dealer, and see if they'll cover it under that recall first. I thought the recall was on the bolts that attach the seat sliders to the floor, not the seat to the slider, am I wrong?

No idea, but the recall is listed as...

"Recall Campaign Number WWT04-Left Front Seat Slide Rail Bolt Recall"

My first move would always be to try to get the dealership to fix something for free if possible.

Yeah, it looks like I'm wrong on that one. Go to the dealer, and they'll probably fix it for free.
