Default Prosport blue install

A night shot of the guage from the cell so bear with me on the quality.

BTW this is with the engine off but the key is in the on position... Problem?? I contacted prosport to try and get a new sending unit but probly wont hear anything until Tuesday b/c of the holiday. Other than Vac being off the guage reads 14.5 PSI max at WOT. My only other complaint is that this thing is a PITA to read during the day. the needle is so dim that you almost cant see it moving and the markings are barely legible.

I've got two prosport gauges and have issues with both. Oil pressure is at 20 when car is off and won't read properly when warmed up, and the EGT sensor is bad. It's reading high as 1300 (normal) and as low as 200 when cruising. I've been in contact with Glenn at Prosport and he will stand by all products. I just need to send in the sensor and oil pressure sender. They will replace them at no cost for me.

Yea thats what I've read, I also sent them a PM here so I think I will be able to get the readings corrected soon.

It was the sending unit for the boost. I just took it out and blew on it and it went back to normal

Perhaps but not being paid for a month and having to catch up on all my bills forced my hand to this route.
Moving on...
I tried blowing into it, but didn't seem to help. I will see what prosport has to say and go from there. I might even go to a mech boost gauge and elec for the rest...

So far so do I too aside from the readings and it being hard to read during they day. I've been trying to find pics of the blue gauges during the day but have not had much luck so far.

You get what you pay for.
Defi> all others.

Put in a defi boost into my car last night, and it works like it should....and that is perfectly

I was about to get a prosport for boost but its sounding like more often than not people higher up have issues with them. I don't have money out the ass to pay for a defi+control unit+whatever else is needed for those, curious what other brands people use for boost gauges that have been good?

I dunno I really like my Defi. No problems seeing it, it dims nicely at night. and it was very simple to install. And it usually reads exactly what I am seeing on Eginuity. But to each their own. How much of a price diff is there between the prosport and defi?

Yeah its like 100, but every defi gauge I've come across you need the defi-link for it to work, and I really don't want to set up a command post in my car, I just want to know what my turbo is doing Unless there is a certain model that I missed.

HAHAH $100 my @ss.

Prosport Boost, Oil Pressure, EGT (all with Peak/Warning functions) and ATI POD = $389 shipped

Defi Control Unit, Boost, Oil Pressure , EGT, and ATI POD = ~$800 (if you're lucky).

But hey, if you've got money to spend or waste, depending on who you're talking to, go for the DEFIs. I know I would.
