I don't know if it will or not, but I think you should check on the size of the brakes. If the brakes are the same size as the 05-07, you can probably fit those wheels on. It might look weird though as the 08's are wider?

They should fit. In Japan GRB STI comes in a 17" version with wheels that look similar to those on the 07 STI Limited. All 08 Imprezas including STI are running offset +55 instead of +53 in the past, but that shouldn't matter. For your info the 17" version runs tire size 235/45/17.

Thanks for the info, I will check with my tire shop. I looked at the 08 STI tires and I feel they might not be suitable in the snow so it might be safer to have snow tires for the rest of the season.

Umm, yah! They're not suitable for winter conditions! They're high performance summer tires.

Even though there is no snow in the forecast for the week, with sub-zero temperatures at night and low single-digit daytime highs, expect to have snow and black ice on the road. Summer tires get too hard when the temperature goes south of 0. Best to get tires whose rubber compound doesn't turn into the compound of hockey pucks in cold weather.

What kind of snows you thinking of putting on them?

Yes, post pics. After seeing the '08 STi in person today, I think my '06 BBS wheels with snow tires will end up on an '09 STi.

While you've got the '08 wheel off of your new STI, snap pics of the dimension stamps on the inside spokes too! Should show the wheel dimensions "18x8?" (I'm guessing) and offset ET50-something?

What color you are getting your 08 STi in Kenwee?

Do you get to choose what color of the BBS to come with the car?
I would definitely want to see a WRB on silver BBS!

As far as I know certain colours come with silver, others with gold... don't think you can choose unless the dealer is willing to swap them around for you.

I just got my 08 today. Its silver and the wheels are silver. I drove my 06 in and the 06 was like raw power, the suspension hard and one could feel the bumps and pot holes. However, the 08's suspension is not as hard and the road irregularities are not so much felt as the 06. I could not rev the motor as it is not broken in yet so could not make a comparison. But there is so much refinement in this car, the suspension the interior , its just so much more "Luxurious". I might get a set of rims that would fit rather than put on the 06BBS and damage the car.I'll see how it goes.

Will try to psot some pics hen I learn how to do it. Thanks alot guys for all the help!
