Default Prosport oil pressure and temp

I posted about this a bit earlier but got a bit confused so i decided to ask in a more simple way...

When you are hooking up Prosport oil presure and oil temp gauges to the oil gallerys on the block, do you need the aftermarket oil gallery plug for both of the gauges or just one.

Please let me know so that i can order the correct stuff the first time.

Oh yea, this is on a 02 wrx..thanks to all!!

I think both. Buy 2 just in case, they are cheaper than taking all that crap apart again.

Just get the donut adapter that goes where your oil filter goes, easier to get to, and has the same effect.

But if you are doing both, you need two sensors, one for the oil temp, and another for the oil pressure. They are different sensors.
Just get the donut, and thread them in there and screw it on. less things to go wrong IMHO.

Correct term sandwich adapter. Prosport has them on their site and they have 2 connectors on it IIRC you can get both Pressure and temp on the adapter.

I was just looking at them I think its alot better than the galley plug.
Sandwich Adapter

Galley Plug

Oil Pressure Sender

Fully hooked up

i do agree 4st-air, looks like much less of a pain. one more question, i am also getting a water temp gauge with the billet water temp adapter from fastwrx.com. you have to cut the radiator hose and insert this piece, i was just wondering if it should be fine to use the upper hose?

and also in the pick of the fully assembled sandwhich adapter, is that the oil temp wires hooked up next to the oil pressure sensor?

That's what I meant....I just missed lunch and I must have been hungry! I like donuts! But that is what I was refering to there. I have had no problems with mine, and it was easy to do
