Default Traction Control/ABS/Hill hold system shutting off

I have a 2008 WRX and the lights for the traction control/ABS/hill hold keep coming on and those feature of the car are shut off when this occurs.

I have had the car in on a number of occasion (tomorrow will be #4).
-The first time it happened they placed a contact enhancer on the system since cause was: FC-UAE-43/Type N ***Code 0054 (I don't know what that means)
-Second time there was no errors in the system.
-third time there was also no errors in the system-This time the car was in since the system shut off in snowy conditions causing a slide and the left tire to drive up on the curb and damage various parts which would have been a warranty claim but Subaru of Canada is pretty much saying no error code they aren't paying. (Which is like they are saying that I'm lying to them since the car is saying that the system didn't shut off)
-When I called to report the lights coming on the forth time after the car was repaired the service manager said the lights were due to the steering angle or something like that which was correct and they don't know why they came on. I have a picture of my dash in case they are wanting to say they aren't coming on/no error codes.

Sorry that a little long but I am wondering if anyone else is having these problems/has any ideas on what the cause of this might be?

Thank you in advance.

consult your dealership asap. There is a new tech bulletin on this very concern. The bulletin came out last week. I'll try and find you a copy unless someone else gets one posted first.

In the Jan, 2008 Tech Tips there's this entry in the table of contents:
2008 Impreza Stop Light Switch C0074 and C0054
Do SCI dealers have access to Tech Tips?

Thanks. The car was dropped off at the dealership this morning. They were supposed to call back today but they didn't so I'm calling first thing in the morning.

In reading the manual, the light turns on when the traction control system is intervening, letting you know it's working and helping out.

Are the lights staying on after the slippage event??

Re-read the manual that describes the system and rethink what you are noticing.

It is the lights that show the system has shut off. See images below
