Crusie Control Issues, Any Suggestions?

Hey all,

Problem is affecting an '02 WRX wagon. Cruise control no longer working. Here's what happens and what I've done.

1)Main switch activates and lights up.
2)Checked all rear brake lamps and are operational
3)Clutch safety switch 'seems' to be working. The plunger is still there and in and out with the clutch pedal.
4)Car was retro fitted long ago with the clip to retain the cable over the throttle body.

Is there any systematic way of testing the control unit without being a Certified Suby Dealership/Mechanic? Is there a way to test the clutch safety switch to make its doing what it should be doing, i.e., grounding when clutch depressed or closing the circuit when depressed.

Any suggestions/insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Yes it does, whether that is for better or worse. All the appropriate fuses are also good. Thanks for the help.

you can test the resistance of the clutch switch using a DMM. sorry i dont have the specs.
