Good Bye Tranny....LOL

This car was a pleasure to tune, When he adds meth/gears(tranny)/clutch...this car will be a monster on the street!!! Not that isn't already... AFAIK he just ordered a FMIC, so I will see if that helps out in a later retune.

I think it is feedback on the dyno, you can see it come back in the end too. I noticed it, as well but the timing/knock/fuel/etc... are on the money in the log, so there is nothing to worry about. I knew the tune was going to get picked apart, so I probably should have said it in the first post.

Hey John, great job. Looks like you guys are very busy down in PT. I'm glad to hear about the cobb. Now warm up your hands and get ready for my car. As soon as it's ready it's all yours.

Those numbers are awesome. I just put in RA gears and an Exedy Stage 1 clutch. I was debating between a 20g and an FPGreen, but for a DD those numbers are great.

Either way im coming to you guys for the tune.

Is this the new FP20G with the TD06SL2 turbine wheel? 7cm or 8cm?

Any problems with boost creep? Are you holding 22psi to redline, or as i'm guessing are you tapering a bit?

Great numbers for 93 pump.

What does a stock STi do on that dyno? Those are nice numbers for the stock top mount and the amount of mods. Are you actually running a CL/OL delay?

Not too sure on the specifics on the 20G...I will have to call the owner, sorry. Made me want to ditch my SZ49 though...lol

I do run a CL/OL delay, however I completely change the settings to account for the turbo... hope this answered your question. Any other thoughts, feel free to ask.

Thanks to everyone for the positive comments, I really appreciate it.... it makes all of the hard work worth every minute.

It must be an 8cm. A 20-G should be making peak torque by 3,600. This one isn't comming on until 4,400.

Of course that could be intentional to keep the pistons alive,.....but I;'m guessing it is an 8cm.

7cm and a 3" inlet on the compressor would have helped a lot I suspect. The 8cm will come into it's own if the owner goes front mount. Then he can tune for mega power up top.

That's awesome. I've never seen a 20G make over 340whp on pump gas alone... what is it that gave this car such an advantage?

That's still late. My TD06-20g 8cm hits peak torque around 4k on my ej207.
