Thumbs up MrJosh43

Just wanted to put in a good word for MrJosh43 - bought a Whiteline ALK from him a week or so ago - got it out to me very quickly and at a very good price!

Talking Josh rocks!

Huge thanks to Josh for taking care of me after a problem with FedEx's handling of a shipment - bottom line, only part of my ALK arrived. The rest is in some FedEx truck - the box took a huge beating, and eventually tore open. Called Josh, and had he had a new one sent out the next business day.

Never mind the fact that he told me up front he didn't have a couple of the items in stock, but could get them in two days (which he did).

And of course, he had the best prices I could find on Whiteline parts...

If only all the vendors handled their customers as well, <sigh>...

Thumbs down Shame on Mr. Josh!

OK, I must b the one unlucky mofo that Josh decided to jerk around. I ordered one of his lightweight pulleys about a month ago after reading good things about him and his product. 12 days after I mailed off my money order I emailed him asking if he had received it or if he could provide a tracking number for me and all he wrote was:

I haven't seen it yet, but there is a bunch of new
mail I need to go through today that just came in.
I'll let you know when it arrives.

Josh

Not even a phone number... I know it doesn't take more than a week for mail to get from arizona to cali cuz i ordered a window regulator from a california company, mailed them payment, and got my order within a week. So I emailed him 2 weeks later (after receiving no reply) asking for a status update or a tracking numer and received no reply. I waited another week and begged for any information or I would cancel the money order in 2 days. 3 days later and still nothing. Luckily i saved the stub so a stop payment is in the works. Needless to say he lost my money and my business for good.
Now, I understand he may be a busy person but this is just bad business. You DON'T leave your customers hanging like this. Why would u give someone the silent treatment when they wanna do business with u? And if u are too busy to keep in touch, why do business in the first place?? The least he could have done was acknowledge me when I tried to contact him.
I'd like to close by saying BIG F*CKIN THUMBS-DOWN for an inept businessman and a big waste of my time.

Default Mr. Josh.com???? Anyone have experience?

http://mr-josh.com/

This guy has some very reasonably priced pulleys, endlinks, and shifter bushings....

I have been thinking of picking up the shifter bushings and rear endlinks because I need endlinks for my new 22mm rear swaybar that I just installed.....

What do you guys think? - Dan

PS - did a search and no one has said anything anywhere on this forum....

I have the pulley and have had no problems with it. Nice price. I've heard bad things from others about the urethane used in his endlinks, however.

I honestly think I gotta be true to Kartboy because I know their stuff is top quality...Tom - you'll be hearing from me in a couple of weeks for endlinks and bushings. - Dan

Default Yes, Mr. Josh is still in business, just got this email

"
Steve-
I'm actually all out right now. I'm actually in the process of reorganizing and expanding the whole product line under a new business name and new location (Boise, ID). The old website is still up for some reason, it was supposed to be taken down in October. I hope to have a redesigned pulley back in stock sometime in February, but no guarantees at this point. Let me know if you are still interested at that point, I will be posting on the usual forums (rs25.com, subaruforester.org, i-club.com and maybe nasioc) once things are ready to go. Glad to see these are still in demand, sorry I don't have one for you!

Josh"

Sounds promising as his parts were very good quality and reasonable in price.
