Helix Non Catted Downpipe
The Helix V3 downpipe incorporates all the popular features of the V2 downpipe with the addition of an external wastegate provision. This provision allows for external wastegate gases to be vented back into the downpipe.
Helix Catted Downpipe
The Helix Catted Downpipe incorporates Helix Power’s first-rate bell-mouth downpipe, with the addition of a 200 cell Metal-Substrate high-flow catalytic converter and thermal barrier heat-shield. The 200 cell Metal-Substrate downpipe has been tested by us to yield 7-10whp over the factory twin cats, while able to pass stringent California smog standards on the WRX / STI. The thermal barrier heat-shield assists in rapid warm-up of the cat for maximum efficiency and helping to reduce engine bay temperatures.
Gruppe-S Exhaust Manifold
The Gruppe-S manifold is a 4 to 1 unequal length manifold. It will retain your boxer rumble and features T304 Stainless Steel piping, mandrel bends, and CNC precision cut flanges. The 4-1 collector is cast to ensure the smoothest possible low rates. This header is dyno proven to make power; it will not lose power or torque in 2.5L applications anywhere in the RPM range. 2.0L motors will lose some low-end and mid- range power to gain more high-end power and torque. The more modified your vehicle is, the more pronounced the gains from these headers will be.
The Helix Uppipe is the perfect complement to the Gruppe-S Header. The large 2.25" piping allows for more exhaust gas volume, and the lack of a flex-section or restrictions ensures maximum exhaust gas velocity to spool the turbo.
The Helix V3 uppipe was created for the 400+ horsepower EJ25. The V3 uppipe is designed to achieve real horsepower gains and improved torque curves by allowing the use of an external wastegate (EWG). An EWG eliminates the power-loss associated with internal wastegate turbos by moving the exhaust vent turbulence away from just before the nozzle area of the turbo. Not only does this result in improved power levels for high horsepower cars but also greater boost control and better torque curves. The V3 uppipe is mandrel bent from 2.3” SS304 tubing, TIG welded, and employs CNC machined flanges. The full 2.3” tubing allows for greater exhaust gas flow and only reduces down to 2.0” after the EWG port. The uppipe flange can be ported to 2.3” provided a 2.3” gasket is used (not included). The V3 uppipe can also be used as an internal wastegate uppipe with the included block off plate.
Helix WRX Intercooler Y-Pipe Kit
The Gruppe-S intercooler hose kit replaces the corrugated rubber stock y-pipe, smoothing and increasing the airflow, making for a nice increase in power and better boost response. Includes a cast-aluminum Y-pipe, premium quality 4-ply silicon hoses, clamps. This kit will work for STi TMICs being installed on WRXs.
