Default Replacing basic mirror with compass/dim in 07 STi

Ladies and gents,

I recently swapped one 07 STi for another, after an unfortunate collision with an F150. The new one had a basic mirror, so my body shop man took the compass/auto dim mirror from the wrecked car to the new one. He tells me there was no wiring loom, which seems obviously wrong. The back of the mirror has a connector block with a series of pins (8 I think) arranged in a straight line. I can't post pictures yet. The mirror has two buttons, one labelled "mirror", one labelled "compass".

There was a wiring loom in the glove box, but neither end fits those pins.

Any idea what I need?

Thanks,

Jim M.

...I just called in at my local Subaru dealers and found a car on the lot with the same mirror. I am missing the wiring loom and the plastic conduit which it runs through. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. Duuuhhhh...
