Default VF48 on 2002 wrx?

So i just saw one of these turbo's for sale on Harman Motive's website got me thinking how it would do on a 2002 wrx? Similar to the VF39 or any thoughts or even better, anyone done this yet?

I'm pretty sure they are identical to the vf39 other the having a larger wastegate to combat boost creep. Believe it came on the 07 sti. If you search around I imagine there are a few running this turbo.

Just relized that this is the turbo off the new 08 sti. Since they only just came out I doubt that there are many if any floating around. I was actually talking about the vf43 in my previous reply and not too sure what the difference is of the vf48 from the vf39.

ok i did a vf48 turbo off PERRINS 08 sti and had it tuned by jeff perrin. i made 293 horsepower and 258 lbs tourqe. i could go way more but that is a safe number for daily driving with stock internals. it is a great turbo and pulls hard as hell. i have raced people with vf39 turbos and i pull away everytime. i suggest for a cheap turbo swap do it.
