Default MY 07 WRX and dealerships new 08 STI.

I was quite surprised when I rolled into work today and saw them prepping a fully loaded Black STI. I got to drive it up and down the road a few times and around the lot a bunch so I was pretty happy. First off the interior is amazing, everything about it is a level above its predecessor. The car looks mean as hell from the from and the sides, but the rear end needs work. To me the car felt a little underpowered, but putting in it sport sharp mode made somewhat of a difference. Then again I'm used to my car. Although, I do have to say the steering, suspension, tires and brakes are where I was blown away. The wide sticky tires give the car amazing grip and the quick steering is lightyears better then my WRX. The brake pedal was stiff and the car stopped on a dime. It's quite a capable car and has amazing potential, but the looks are more grown up and the 40K sticker goes along with that.

Anyway here they are(Sorry for the iPhone Pics!):

Hmmm... I see the dash shot and thinking about changing my mind.... then I see the side and rear profile.

No thanks. I will just buy a used WRX/STi or another brand for 40K.

Thanks for the write-up!
