here is the story:

i bought one from a salvage vendor and has 1 on bottom
~
then member sold me a booster/master cylinder off a MY05
and there is 1 1/16 on bottom
~
then saw this:
"I'm looking for a 2002-2005 WRX or any year STi brake master cylinder. It needs to be the 1 1/16" version as marked on the underside of the master cylinder. Let me know what you've got. Thanks."
~
think i got screwed by vendor
unless MY04's had a smaller(1 on bottom) master cylinder

what do you say conversionists???

the wrx break master cylinder afaik has a side feed hardline, the STI is a front feed hardline though that may have changed in the newer wrxs.
