Talking got my Titan motorsports downpipe have a question thou

I came home to find a huge box and inside a huge downpipe

looks good the construction seems to be good te only concern i have is that there is a flat surface right in front of the wastegate would this slow the flow?

Basically what you've got there is a downpipe that follows the stock design except it's what.. 3 inch? and catless.

The stock pipe has that flat spot too.. though can't remember if it's right at the flange or recessed like yours.

Nothing against titan motorsports.. they're absolutely great as far as customer service goes.. but I dunno if I'd want that design on my car. A wide mouthed downpipe (ala scoobysport) or twin pipe (ala vishnu et others) would seem to be a better choice.

Believe me thats a good DP, the stock is more of a WALL....at least that recess's back a bit, so it will still flow, plus it looks like its 3" and catless, you'll have plenty of flow.

Well I think most would argue that with that setup your going to create turbulence and slow down exhaust flow.

I don't think the turbulence would cause all that much of a
problem running the stock turbo. even my turboxs downpipe
would have some also just cause theres know divider, but
that doesn't mean you would lose hp, with that size 3in
downpipe turbulence would be minimal, just my 2cts

also as long as the cat stays out of the downpipe flow will
be pretty close for any of the designs. later

Wink

Hmm, this has been discussed before over the Stromung downpipe on this thread.

The basic conclusion is that it will work OK as the gasses coming from the wastegate are forced out at an angle as the wastegate penny doesn't open more than 45 degrees. However, the wide mouth or twin dump designs should be better.

If anyone is unhappy with the design of our downpipe send it back for a full refund.

I run this downpipe on my car and so do a lot of other people I have not heard one complaint until I read this post.

But again I stand behind what we make if you do not like it send it back.
