Default Weirest thing you've found in a used car you've purchased

When I saved my 87 turbo from the brink of destruction, I gutted the car and found some weird things...

RG59 coaxial cable running from the middle of the console to the back... but it didn't have RF->RCA plugs (like if it was for an amp) just regular RF plugs on each end...

Upon removing the passenger seat... I found what must have been a 5 year old MARIJUANA JOINT jammed between the carpet and the seat rail! It lost it's smell LONG before, but man was I just like "*** owned this car?!?!"

Also, instead of buying a replacement allen bolt and spring from the dealer to secure the driver side front part of the targe top, they went to pepboys and ghetto rigged a ****ing HEX BOLT that was WAY too large and TORQUED it HARD in the hole to hold it down...morons.

talk about some people!!!

What's the weirdest thing you've found in a used car?

I used to live in MD. I went down there to visit my dad, who now sells cars. Got a sweet deal on the del Sol. When I got it home there was a reciept for a guitar amp in the owners manual. The name on it was one of my best friends that I hadn't talked to in over 12 years. He was the previous owner.

wow! That's almost as crazy as the story about how I lost my birth certificate and SS Card in the river when went swimming one day (after the first day on a new job when I was 14 and riding my bike home). 2 years later and about 30 miles+ downstream, my uncle 'caught' them while fishing. Pulled his line and had them together (they had been folded up together). crazy, eh? My SS Card is really tattered to say the least (28 now)

Okay...I've owned 4 z cars in my life. Every single one of them had a strip of condoms hidden in them someplace. Glovebox, under a seat, in a compartment, under the console. Funny part is that my friend has owned a couple z cars as well and has reported the same thing.

I would expect to find condoms in C4 corvettes since they look more like a boner than Z's do!

My friend got honda civic shuttle from a guy for $200. One week later while cleaning he found a pink dildo under the drivers seat in an ice cream box. He washed his hand for 1 hour straigt and then stuck it in bucket of JP-8 for 5 min. even then he would not eat with that hand for month, and now if you ever reminded him of it while eating he will almost throw up.

I found a token to Treasure Island and an acorn while cleaning under the rails of the driver's seat. And there was a skinny, funny looking tire in the trunk under a thin board.

My son had a 240 series Volvo, about a 1990. It had been imported at some point from Italy. He took out the back seat to exchange it with the back seat of another Volvo and found this funny little kid's Italian doll. It looked sorta like a Fisher-Price person but not like anything you can get here!

I owned an '87 Ford Escort GT for a while. I figured it was a car that had been smoked in; it has some very *slight* burns on the front seats. That thought was confirmed when I installed my MOMO leather shift boot about a year later. I found probably 3 dried up old GPC menthols and about 2 dollars in change inside the front console. Within 3 days of buying the car, I started a full deatil job on it. Upon lowering the rear seat back, I found a baby's pacifier and about 43,000 CrackDonald's Happy Meal toys. Just before I ditched the car in favor of a '91 4wd Civic wagon in the summer of 2000, I was doing some under-hood work(what it was escapes me). Inside one of the small areas where the water drains to from the drip rails on the a-pillar(a flat space under the hood, touching the firewall on the driver's side) I found an OLD Miller bottle cap. That shows the type of people that'd worked on it, I guess. Hey, if I had to work on a 1st gen Escort, I'd wanna drink too.

A McDonalds French Fry that was petrified after setting in the car for 6 years; similarly, a packet of McDonalds Sweet'N Sour Sauce of about the same vintage.

Good. What I need you two fellas to do is take those cleaning products and clean the inside of the car. And I'm talkin' fast, fast, fast. You need to go in the backseat, scoop up all those little pieces of brain and skull. Get it out of there. Wipe down the upholstery -- now when it comes to upholstery, it don't need to be spic and span, you don't need to eat off in. Give it a good once over. What you need to take care of are the really messy parts. The pools of blood that have collected, you gotta soak that **** up. But the windows are a different story. Them you really clean. Get the Windex, do a good job. Now Jimmie, we need to raid your linen closet. I need blankets, I need comforters, I need quilts, I need bedspreads. The thicker the better, the darker the better. No whites, can't use 'em. We need to camouflage the interior of the car. We're gonna line the front seat and the backseat and the floor boards with quilts and blankets. If a cop stops us and starts stickin' his big snout in the car, the subterfuge won't last. But at a glance, the car will appear to be normal. Jimmie -- lead the way, boys -- get to work.

that's cause there was a mouse in your seat

weirdest thing i have found in a car, this was a new car sold from our dealer, it had sat next to the dumpsters and in the path of an ant hill. Well the ant's moved their entire colony into the back seat cushion of the vehicle. there had to be 2k ants in this car. Talk about nasty.....ew....gives me the willy's just remember pulling up the seat with my bare hand and seeing all those ants...ack!

The previous owner left me about $3.00 in change in the tray. I figure I'll leave my change in the tray when I sell the car sometime in the future.

When i bought my RS, behind my glovebox I found a paycheck from snow summit or something dated 2 years prior for $0.68
and another golf tee

I found a cigar box that had a bunch of random pictures (none were of boobies) and also a roach in this 1986 volvo. The roach may have been from me that I lost though.
