im pritty sure the oild pans are diffrent.yours is smaller so it has slightly diffrent bends.

From what I've gathered, it will clear the oil pan but it won't bolt to the rest of your exhaust. If you are going to do the headers, you need to do a full pre-06 exhaust (cat and catback). You may want to wait for someone else to chime in, though.

This is correct. You need an 02-05 cat pipe, midpipe, and tail pipe. Also, your rear O2 sensor cable probably will not reach (if getting a high flow cat at least), so you will need to solder a connector or buy an extension.

The ones listed are not the correct ones, they will have to custom make them for you for about $32. In fact, I was just about to call to order those.

Well, I meant more info for UEL headers!

I plan on making a walkthrough/how-to thread on how on how to do that for us 2.5i'ers.

When I said soldering connectors, I meant just soldering in I think 18 or so gage wires. I was half asleep in that post


I basically just emailed them pictures of the plug (actually good quality ones from the member that I got them from), and phoned in an order when I got a reply. Justin was the one that emailed me back. I called the main phone number on the website, and pressed one. I explained it to whoever picked up. The poor guy probably didn't know what I was saying, because I was, once again, half asleep at that point.

+1 for needing an 05-previous style cat pipe to make those or any headers fit the 06-07 2.5i. might as well get a high flow cat if you going to buy one anyway. good for 5 or 6 hp alone.

apparently the cat can affect a change in exhaust notes (i guess for those who want their exhaust note to be perfect)

after numerous videos, i think the stock 05RS catpipe produces the best sounding exhaust. than again, it's all personal preference!

the stock RS catpipe might sound nice but if you ant performance gains then im almost certain most any HFC will give you much better gains than a stock cat.
