Hmm... Looks nice enough.. A lot more evolution than revolution, but the current style is not in need of a major overhaul.. The back end is kind of neat.. A little more wagon and a little less mini-SUV.

Will be interesting to see engine options.. 2.5s across the board, I would guess.

Yeah, I realized after starting this thread that someone had already posted a similar one in the Forester forum.

I think we're going to see a new engine come with the Forester. The article below mentioned a new "XS" 2.5 engine:

Not likely. There's no hood scoop on it.
Also, if it's a turbo, it's likely to be a 2.0L.

they also have pix up of the subaru 'baja' --basically looks like a legacy outback but with a truck bed instead of a hatchback

Looks like XS is the name of a grade.
2.5 liter 165 hp. same old motor it seems like

The turbo motor comes next year, according to reports. I like the new look, even though it's sort of RAV4-ish.

I sorta like it... but when are they going to give this poor car a power upgrade? I drove my gf's dad's 02 and it is very slow... seems so underpowered. Needs at least 200hp.
