Possible WTLW, I'm sure, but it's a significant enough issue to take the risk. What I like about it is you can look up each candidate's position, see how they feel and direct quotes as to what they've said about each subject.

I don't think this is a PP only topic as we're not discussing who's better, just potentially a good fyi if you're on the fence.

It's weird, the most important issue for me (1st amendment) isn't even addressed.

The thing is, even if it pulls up someone you won't actually vote for, you can go through and look at what the candidate you've been favoring says about the topic.

Um, it put my top one as Hilary. I would never vote for her seeing as how she served on Wal*Mart's board before Bill ran for president. Obama was second and if I was a registered democrat I would vote for him tomorrow.

However......I find it funny that one of my BIGGEST issues is abortion and I have no way of ranking it ahead of issues that I strongly care about as well. Pretty weak IMO.

I have to admit I am completely uninformed at this point but plan to be by election time, especially after this exercise. Unfortunately I have fallen into the sweet lull of the media and have been focusing on a completely different candidate than I maybe should have.

I also have no problem voting for who best meets my agenda and am not one of the many who will not vote for a canditate just because they haven't been a top contender in the polls.

How about because they are smart enough to realize that if abortion is "your issue" that pretty much it doesn't matter what the other issues are then, does it? It seems like you would vote for someone that you disagree with on all the other issues as long as they are with you on abortion. So basically, you'll be voting republican no matter who they nominate.

Why are you waiting until election time to get informed? You can vote in primaries, too.

Not saying it is my only issue, just more important than other issues I also really care about, know what I mean? I'd maybe like to give it two categories worth of value, but not all of them. And no, I won't be voting Republican regardless of who is nominated. I may go Democrat or I may not vote at all, right now I am unsure.

I expect it to go Obama vs. McCain and I will probably vote for Obama. If Hilary gets it, I will NOT vote Democrat but I may not vote at all.

A. I have never been politically inclined. I don't enjoy political discussion or heated speculative arguments about what I think someone else stands for, or who received a contribution from the Bee & Butterfly Extermination Lobby, or things like that.

B. Simply haven't had the time to investigate the current candidates further.

I am a registered voter and have voted in every election that I have been able to, I just tend to treat elections like finals and cram right before the big day.

I'm a member of the NAR and the NRA and apparently I should vote for Obama.

Oh well, I was planning on voting for him anyway because he's black.

Nor is gun control, which is my biggest hangup with Obama. I'll give a little on that issue though because all of the others outweigh it when combined.

Why don't we make abortion a personal choice, and keep government out of it? Seems like that'd be the best thing to me.

And my top 4 candidates were 16/15/15/14 with the rest between 13 and 12. By party they were Republican/ Democrat/ Republican/ Democrat. Looks like I don't really agree all that much with any of them (as if I didn't know that already).

<- looks forward to another 4 years of crappy government.

Very similar for me. I imagine we're not the only ones.

Here's to a two-party system!
