Default Need to get new piston rings, where to get?

What it says up there. I need new piston rings, so where do I get them other than Subaru? I'd like some stronger than stock ones if possible. thanks.

Most (read virtually all) rings fitted to replacement pistons use standard subaru rings.

Its not normally the rings that fail, but the ring lands.

I suppose you could try some "total seal" rings, measure up the stock rings and see whats available. (no experience of them though)

I would stay away from Total Seal for turbo applications. Although I use them in my N/A high horsepower motors, the tolerances and gap they run is to close for turbo apps and we have had some trouble with them. Stock Subaru rings should be fine.

I think it took about 3 weeks or hard-ish driving on a cracked piston for me to break the stock ring out of the piston. Unfortunately for me, it's hardened and it didn't just slip past the valves and turbo without cauing trouble, like the piston chunk did. :-/
