Unhappy Disscolored center caps on stock rims

Has anyone else noticed the center caps on their stock WRX rims turning yellow?

Is this worth trying to get the dealer to replace or am I out of luck?

Just a note: I have never used wheel cleaners on the rims, just wiped them off with regular car wash solution...

This has come up many many times....I would do a search there is at least a couple of threads on this. But I do not know if anybody has brought this up at the dealership??

But even if they were to replace them...the same thing would happen over and over again......

I noticed the discoloration on my centercaps the first time I washed the car

They suck. Simple as that.

That's exactally what I've done. I couldn't bear to look at that crappy center cap, so I got myself some P1s for the summer

Geek Guy-
Did you get 17's and if so did you lower it too?
If not, does the car look like it wants to be?
I've been struggling with this idea for a while since I like to drive on semi rough dirt roads and was wondering if lowering an inch or so would make much difference, good bad or otherwise...then there is the question of rim strength...

Those discoloring caps really suck. I haven't tried the dealer but i'm sure they'll laugh in my face. It's bad enough they don't want to fix my tranny (first gear grinding). I guess i'm going to do like the rest of you and put the stocks in storage.
