Default Gruppe-S Headers And Primitive Skid Plate

will i have any issues putting the 3/16th plate on over the gruppe-s unequal length headers ?

my mods right now are

2004 Aspen White STi - Cusco Engine & Tranny Mounts , Kartboy Rear Subframe Outrigger Race Bushings , Kartboy Pitch Stop , TiC Subaru Rear Diff Mount Race Bushings , TiC Tranny Crossmember Bushings , Whiteline Rear Sub Frame Lock Down Bolts , Cobb AP Stage 2 Map , Xs Power Tmic , Dual Nrg Catch Cans , Freddies Hose and Mount Kit , Gruppe-S V2 Coated Headers , Invidia V3 Downpipe , Spt CatBack , Nrg Hood Struts , Rear Strut Bar , Spt Turbo Heat Shield , K&N Drop In Filter , Amsoil Motor Oil , RCE V2 Yellow Springs are on the way !

Yep probably - at least w/out alteration.

You may need to use large spacers to fit the skid plate over the headers

and that will probably drop the skid plate way down.

well i put it on today used 3 spacers on each bolt up front and it still rattles , wonder if i should space the rear bolts to ...

p.s. there are only 2 bolts up front right now since one broken off . argh . now i have to remove the sub frame to get the bolt out . there isn't any play in the plate with the one bolt missing but i think there still to close to the headers ... how far did others space theirs out ? did they also space the rear bolts out ?

its on now with no rattles took the 3 washers off added a nut and one washer , so now the bolts won't fall out when i take if off and it provides the correct amount of space for the headers . key to using the nut is to leave it at the end of the bolt so when you put it on it will go all the way down and not leave a gap between the frame and nut .
