Thank you for your response.

I might be getting the 08 STi hub assembly complete that's why I'm asking.

I'll keep on searching to find out if the inner side of the axle will fit in other transmissions.

Does anyone know how much fluid to put in the transmission and also the rear diff? Also where is the fill point? Seems different than my 04 WRX. Thanks in advance!

Found capacity is 4.1QT for a GD STi, is it the same for a GR?

Thanks for being too lazy to get the info that is painfully easy to find on here, google, our your owners manual.

I'm in a good mood so I'll tell you:
12 qts in the gear box - filler is under you shifter knob.

3.14159 in the diff

i have been doing a little reading. im looking into swapping a 08 n/a 5 speed trans into a 02 wrx. from what i can tell the 08 n/a 5 speed trans has a 3.90 gear ratio? so it looks like i would need a 04-05 sti diff with the 3.90 gear ratio. will the 08 diff bolt in a 02?

I didnt want to make a new thread.

Will 08 STi hubs fit onto a 2010 Legacy GT without problems? Does anything have to be changed?
