What is the recommended length guys? Does it depend on which HFC you get? Well there are pretty much 2 most popular, so how long extension for either the Stromung and Random Tech HFC's?

Apparently 24" was too short for Zepp. But I think that's long enough for my application. Go with the longest in case you're unsure.

Nah, I just had to re-locate the female connectors (or whatever the ones you plug the O2's into)

It fits fine, and is a little longer.

It's only one product though. No varying lengths.
They even gave me credit for it!

I sent them an email to fix that though.

There are varying lengths, but maybe it has been updated since you checked it.

Why did you get two? I only needed one 24".

I know I said it didn't work, but I just had to relocate the female connections.

Why don't you edit your post where you said it didn't work so others don't think it won't work.

I got two just to be on the safe side. I'm not sure if the front O2 sensor will reach on the other HFC pipes. Right now, I was pretty lucky to have the front one on mine reach.

When you install an after market high flow catalytic converter, the O2 sensor cables will most likely not reach. You will have to get an extension so the rear one will reach the female connector. I am not sure if this is the case for a 2.5RS, but I know it is for a 2.5i

GR-RACING, your question has been answered several times in other threads as well as in the post 17 of this one. It also explains it on the website that's being linked. If you don't know what it's for then you probably don't need one.

I think he was selling a catback and it was sold.

They're okay, lost some rumble but gained some performance.

I'm probably going to change my whole exhaust setup this spring/summer.

Has anyone ordered one of these extensions and received it yet? I got one and checked it out next to the new Bosch rear O2 sensor and the plugs don't match up. There is a long channel in the middle of the extension plug that goes from one end to the other but on the Bosch plug there is a little plastic divider in the middle of the channel. I sent an email to Cosmo's and they wanted more pictures but after I asked what they would like to see they haven't responded yet.

I will say I haven't checked the factory plug on the sensor on the car yet but the Bosch sensor is the correct one for my car.

well that could be reason that also many people suggest only using oem factory sensor parts because alot of those aftermarket ones are not correct or never seem to work right

just a guess

I used a Bosch in my Front O2 when I had to replace it a couple of years ago and had no issues. Here is a pic illustrating what my problem is:
http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/vi.../1051528_mf7wi

Worse comes to worse I could just swap the connector from the sensor in the car now to the new sensor.

Hmm might be different sensors? The one that Casper's Electronic's made was based off from someone's 05 I think. Whether it was the OEM sensor or an aftermarket replacement, I'm not sure.

Can you post up pictures of the bad extension? Perhaps they sent you the wrong one?

I just checked on the Bosch website and the 05 does call for a different sensor for the rear than my 02. maybe I will try and hit an auto parts store to see if the plug on the 05 matches the extension.
