Help give me an idea on labor cost to fix diff leak?

I'm actually kinda embarrassed to ask this since I pride myself on doing 99% of the work on my cars, but this being my daily driver, I need it back on the road pretty quickly.


Anyways, when I bought my 2.5RS a few months ago, I knew that there was a very small leak from the front diff area, which was reported to me at a dealership when I went to get it checked out (Private party sale), and I confirmed this by looking around while doing an oil change, although I couldn't tell exactly where the leak was coming from. I'm also getting that great burning oil smell from a drop or two hitting the exhaust every now and then.


Anyone care to take a stab at how much it might cost to have a dealership fix this given the (lack of) information? Like I mentioned earlier, I want the car back on the road ASAP, and I don't feel like doing this myself outside in this weather my garage space is taken up by my project car.


I'm also going to check out the dealership reviews to figure out which one to go to, but if someone wants to make a suggestion on one that's in the Boston area, I'm all ears.
