Is yours SOHC or DOHC?? mine is SOHC which is easier than the DOHC

JDM NA 2.0,,,,,,,,, before 98 I have no idea about them? 98~05 are SOHC, 120hp @ 5400rpm (bore/stroke is same as ej205 engines, but with higher CR,,,,,, mine is 10:1)

06~08 are DOHC, 165hp @ 6400 rpm (redline is @ 7600rpm!! bore/stroke is same as ej205 engines, but CR is 11.2:1 some countries get 11:1)

hope that helps

I have a EJ25 but I am looking for stock NA pistons that will fit the EJ20 bore. Playing around with the various motors I have in the garage.

Josh,
Do you care what year? I've got the pistons from a 1990 Ej20D. It's something like 9.5 or 9.8 to 1. Came in a closed deck block with heads pretty much identical to the Ej20G heads used on the first generation legacy.

Nippon Motors in CA usually has these motors in stock. You've just got to be sure to ask for the DOHC NA and not get a SOHC NA 2.0l...

How do these motors compare to the 2.5 NA ones?? a closed deck 2.0 NA motor is def. rare!
