Default first time at the 1/8th mile track

out of 12 runs i was able to complete tonight. the temp was about 70 degrees and probably like 90% humidity as it was raining for a good part of the day.

my best 60' was 1.773

fastest ET was 8.448

fastest MPH was 82

best run of the night was my 2nd run

RT: 0.541
60': 1.817
trap MPH: 82
ET: 8.44

the car has almost 50,XXX miles on the stock clutch. by the end of the night, it was starting to give up on me. i guess thats my next upgrade.

heres my car: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/power-br...hp-320wtq.html

im not a huge drag racing guy, more into autox. how do you guys think i did? what are the typical sti times with a protuned stg2 setup?

Hey congrats on going to the track,... your 1/8 mile (8.448) time converts to 13.30 for a 1/4 mile....
Hope this helps. IIRC that is average for stage 2 STI. Dont worry about the clutch you probably just glazed it. I have had this happen to me a few times at the track, gone back the next time and it was fine... Has alot to do with how you launch (probably slipping it a bit too much). Practice practice practice
