I'll save WRXnFX the trouble and say you should watch the swearing since it's a public board and they have rules against that. Oh, and is English not your first language? I can understand the grammatical errors if that's the case, but if you're just typing like that for whatever reason, please stop.

Anyway, your tranny is shot. I can't tell you the exact problem, could be the synchro's, gears, gear selector, or other things, but it's definitely an internal problem. Warranty, well that depends. If you pull off your aftermarket things(mainly just the power adders) you should get coverage. I'm assuming you upped the boost with the controller. In which case the dealership could claim that the added power caused to much stress on the tranny. So take that stuff off before you bring it in, and you should be pretty safe for warranty coverage.

Cool

You can be the test if Anchorage Subaru will warranty a WRX with transmission problems.

AK_2002_WRX - what is this double post? Trying to pad your posts I see.

Why take the sticker off? Do you think they will discriminate against cars with stickers? A sticker doesn't mean you race your car. I hope they don't have any of their service guys monitoring this forum. Winslow

I couldn't imagine that Jake would do that. And even if he did, I would seriously doubt that it would have been for a malicious purpose, such as helping the dealership catch modders that screwed up and now want their warranty to cover their booboo.

We would _never_ do that, would we?!

Also, I agree with Eby: WrXpOwErBYrAIlLiArT, please make an effort to post messages that are intelligible. If you continue posting messages in the fashion that you have I think people will start ignoring you. I could be wrong......

The mods that you have should not have impacted your tranny at all. But it will be better if you take all the goodies off, but I would not worry too much about the sticker.

Have you been doing alot of hard launches or what?

As for Jake, he would not be here to spy, and I do not think he would turn anyone away, unless it was obviously intentional abuse to the car.

Thats my .02.

You want to start flames about warranty work? Just go to the Service and Maintenance Forum. There is always someone in their asking SOA to fix their mistakes. It's a touchy subject. Dealers do monitor this website but they also help modify member's cars. For instance Exceter and Irvine Subaru, both sell BPM products and install them for customers. The dealer must prove that your modifications to your car is what caused the malfunction. That is hard and expensive to do.

Did you ever get the MBC working? Your grammar is phoenetic. It's like reading the dictionary. It doesn't bother me but your word choice is interesting. I'm amazed that you can type like that all the time. When I try to do that, it takes me twice as long as to type.

Well pretty much anything that increases a cars power could void the warranty on the tranny(just go into the aftermarket forced induction forum and ask how many RS-T owners have gotten warranty coverage on their trannies). It depends on what exactly is broken. If it's something that isn't really effected by the power, like say the gear selector, you should get coverage. However, if it's a stripped gear, they could say the added power put to much stress on it. Subaru trannies are pretty weak to begin with, so that's a reasonable claim. It all depends on the dealer you go to. Some are cool and don't care about mods much. However, I don't know how the Anchorage Subaru deals with it. Somebody should ask the service manager next time they're in there, or talk to Jake about it.

I am guessing the racing probably had something to do with it, but I guess, only Big Worm would know that for sure.
