Default Tuner with Dyno in Dallas?

Does anyone know of a really good tuner in the Dallas area that has and awd dyno and tunes with it? I have a fairly built 06 STi with a version 1 Accessport used for my tuning, and I'm moving there in a few months and need to get it retuned for altitude, octane, etc.

Short answer, no.

There are a couple of dynos in the area. Alamo has an AWD dyno in Arlington, but no one to tune Subies. Gotham has a Mustang (wherever they are), but again no tuner. Rumor has it that Chris from XX_tuning is the only guest tuner allowed on the dyno, and last I heard, it was broken.

We get tuners in town every once in a while, when a group of people bring them in. Clark Turner was in town with support from Subaru of Dallas a couple of weeks ago. He'll be back in a couple of months. Chris from XX tuning was in town in Dec. Al from Dyna Flash comes around every once in a while as well. ...just about any national level tuner has been around at one time or another.

There are a couple of tuners in the state, 3-4hrs away. There is MZM in Austin. If you're serious and willing to throw down $$, they will work with you. The only people I've seen unhappy with their customer service were trying to get by on the cheap. I guess they aren't afraid to tell you what they think. There is Engine Logics in Houston. They don't like tuning AP, and tried to sell me an ECUTEK license. People in Houston like them, but I think it's because there isn't anything better.

Search the TXIC regional forum, and you'll find all kinds of opinions. ..but no easy answers.

I used to know Kenny Tran of Jotech pretty well, and after talking to them, they said they Street Tune, then rent Alamo's dyno to complete the tune. $550. Any idea of cost on the others? I'm not too cheap but i did just drop a freakin ton of money into this thing and I'm growing mildly tired of throwing cash at it.

I've bought race gas and a few non-vehicle-specific parts from Jotech, but they never talked to me about tuning. They've seen my car, and know what I do with it. I don't even know anyone in TXIC that they've tuned. I just assumed it was because of a lack of access to an AWD dyno.

Alamo's dyno is completely above ground, and the car has to be driven off a lift to get on/off. I went there once, and the process of backing off the dyno bothered me. I forget what brand it is.
